It’s really important to book your tickets and reserve your place in advance if you want to have the best possible day out. So, be an early bird and use our list of the best countdown parties in Bali to ensure you have the best New Year’s Eve of your life.

Our Top 11 Countdown Parties In Bali For 2025-2026

FINNS Beach Club

finns new year's eve

There is simply no better place on Earth to spend your New Year’s Eve than at FINNS Beach Club in Bali. FINNS NYE Party is the stuff of legends, and there’s no doubt that it’s the most sought-after event ticket of the year.

They sell out well in advance, and FINNS Beach Club has never sold tickets for its NYE Party on the day. So, make sure to book asap if you want to be guaranteed a good time.

As we go to press, they’ve sold nearly 2,000 general admission tickets in September! And nearly all the furniture is gone, too. So, if you want the ultimate party seating, get a move on. The early bird in this case may get the only worm on offer.

Many people say that their sole reason for visiting Bali at this time of year is the chance to spend New Year’s Eve at FINNS Beach Club.

This year’s headliner is Duke Dumont, and there will be other DJs joining in the New Year’s Eve celebration at FINNS. The venue on Berawa Beach offers a daytime-into-night party atmosphere with the most amazing sunset view over the Indian Ocean imaginable.

It’s the place to be to party all night long, and we love to get there as the doors open, so we don’t miss a moment of the exciting time at this beach club.

By the way, if you want to book FINNS and some wonderful accomodation nearby, we can help out – here at the Bali Res Centre, we’ve got the best accommodation for NYE in Canggu around with tickets for FINNS included!

Copper Kitchen @ Bisma 8

The Copper Kitchen is a rooftop spot on the Bisma 8 hotel in Ubud. It’s a swanky affair, and that’s why they say they’re having a “smoke & char” night, which is what everyone else would call a barbecue.

The view over the jungle and the nearby town will be great, and we suspect you will see a lot of fireworks displays from this venue.

Of course, the focus is on the food, but it is still a NYE Party, and they will have DJ Nano laying down some electronic beats to help blend tropical island vibes with something a bit more modern.

If beach parties aren’t your cup of tea, then you may find that Copper Kitchen is a good alternative.

Akasa Jumeria Bali

The impressive Akasa in Jumeria Bali resort is going with a big dinner, DJs, dancing and a live band, which should make for a pleasant night out.

You are expected to dress up for this event and rocking up in beachwear may see you asked to leave and change into something more suitable.

La Brisa

La Brisa will be happy to take a booking (and some of your hard-earned cash) for the big night right now.

But there’s no headliner announced or indeed, any announcement at all re DJs or bands, and we’d wait to book until they reveal something.

Atlas Beach Club

Atlas has gone in a very different direction this year. In the last two years, they’ve had Akon and Martin Garrix play on New Year’s Eve. These are huge names with real international appeal.

This year, it’s going to be Swae Lee, who doesn’t seem to be as big a draw. We feel this is another indicator that Atlas isn’t quite on form any more.

The club has weathered a couple of scandals this year, and their once vaunted high-end kitchens have started producing Indomie noodle recipes (yes, packet noodles).

But, with a confirmed headliner, we feel it’s more likely to sell out than it has been at other events the club has hosted this year.

Potato Head Beach Club

With all the creative energy that comes from the team at Potato Head, we have to confess that we are a bit disappointed that they’ve not managed to announce a headline artist for the New Year’s Eve experience.

They’ve had some good countdown parties in the past, but we understand that there’s a serious problem with booking acts for the New Year this year. So, we’d be cautious about handing over any money for this party on Petitenget Beach.

Of course, they do have in-house resident DJs DITA and GERO booked and some guest talent announced, such as Saoirse and Shanti Celeste, but we’re not sure that’s enough to go on to commit to Potato Head for NYE.

So, along with several other beach clubs’ NYE events, we’d say to keep an eye on this one if you want to go and wait to find out if they’re providing an unforgettable New Year’s Eve lineup or not.

Honestly? We’d just book FINNS Beach Club at this point. At least, you know they’ll be blending tropical island vibes with party fun to help you celebrate NYE.

Midaz Bali

This upscale resort will have a New Year’s Eve celebration, and they’ve already confirmed that they are accepting bookings.

However, there’s no specific package announced, but last year, they had a live band, DJs on the decks and more, so it will probably be something like that.

They haven’t got any tickets on sale, so contact the hotel’s reception if you want to book for the evening.

Tropical Temptation

Somebody at Tropical Temptation must really like joss sticks. They’ve booked 3 DJs and then they’re seeing in the New Year with 3 hours of “ecstatic dancing”.

We feel this might be more at home in Ubud than the beach club-heavy area of Ungasan, but what do we know?

Anyway, the big challenge at this beach club is getting home after the event. The taxi mafia own this area and you won’t be able to get a Grab or Gojek.

Ku De Ta Beach Club

We’re gobsmacked that Bali’s oldest beach club hasn’t announced whether they’re even hosting a New Year’s Eve experience, yet.

However, we do know that booking acts is a major nightmare for clubs on the island at the moment.

Hopefully, they’ll announce a headliner sooner or later as there have been some great parties here over the years, but we wouldn’t book until they do.

Azul Beach Club X Bali Mandira

Azul Beach Club decided to go in the opposite direction of most other beach clubs and instead of aiming for the biggest party and major DJs firing up signature electronic beats, they’re going with a gourmet dinner instead.

Think 5 courses of tasty dishes. Though you will need to pay for drinks on top of the fixed price menu.

They’ve teamed up with the Bali Mandira hotel for this too, and all dinner guests and hotel guests are welcome to join their countdown party by the pool.

Savaya Bali

Unlike many of the other beach clubs on our list, Savaya has announced a headliner, and you can enjoy Jamie Jones & Bedouin.

There’s a downside, though, and that’s that Savaya is a very expensive night out, and it will be capped by the fact that you can’t get a ride-share or taxi for love nor money after coming out of the big party here.

That means paying the local taxi mafia an extortionate amount of money to get home, even if you only live a few minutes’ drive away.

Friends Bar

Friends isn’t really a New Year’s Eve party so much as it is the ultimate after-party for all the other places.

When you find yourself being gently ushered out the door of a beach club, you can walk to Friends and find the party’s just getting started. (This is super easy from Atlas, FINNS and Cafe Del Mar).

You’ll be warmly welcomed and find that in addition to a wonderful range of cocktails, the folks at Friends Bar make

Frequently Asked Questions

Do You Need To Book Tickets In Advance For New Year’s Eve In Bali?

Yes! If you want to go to FINNS Beach Club, we’d advise booking your unforgettable New Year’s Eve in Bali right now. They are always sold out come the day, and they do not sell tickets on the day, either.

For some of the other beach club affairs, we’d wait until they have at least announced some part of the lineup and are giving you some indication that you’re going to get some value for your money.

Unfortunately, this year, we’ve heard that booking agents are inundated with requests for New Year’s Eve globally and many clubs here in Bali are going to struggle to land international artists. By this time last year, there were a lot more acts already booked, such as Dutch party starter Carista, Jeremy Jay, Swedish virtuoso Baba Stiltz and various other top DJS, and it was easy to find live music for the countdown parties.

Is It Easy To Get Home On New Year’s Eve?

Unfortunately, it’s not that easy to get home on New Year’s Eve in Bali. It’s the most popular night of the year, and people are all out at NYE dinners and parties.

That means there’s a real shortage of both ride-share drivers and taxi drivers. Those who are out usually expect large tips in order to take you anywhere.

Our recommendation is to book your New Year’s Eve accommodation as soon as you book your New Year’s Eve party tickets and to book somewhere within walking distance of your chosen venue.

Hotels and resorts here are often completely full weeks or even months in advance between Christmas and New Year, so it makes sense to get this sorted as soon as you can.

Whatever you do, don’t book a party on Seminyak Beach and then elect to stay in Nusa Dua; you’ll spend most of the night after the party stuck in traffic.

What Should I Take To A NYE Party In Bali?

All you really need at a NYE Party is yourself, but we always recommend that you take some additional layers of clothing, as that helps you go from day to night and enjoy looking good and feeling comfortable throughout.

We would also take some cash, while you can pay for NYE Dinners or drinks in a beach club with cards, you may find that nearby vendors and/or taxi drivers won’t take your card.

Most of all, we recommend putting everything you don’t need in a locker if the venue supplies one, as this can help keep your stuff safe while you focus on the live music and dancing.

Do Beach Clubs Have A Dress Code On New Year’s Eve In Bali?

Some do, some don’t. Most beach clubs in Bali have a very laidback approach to dress codes, and you should find that as long as you’re wearing what you would wear to the beach, you’re fine.

However, we strongly recommend that you check with whichever venue you’re going to, you and your dinner guests or fellow party fans are going to have a much better time if you get straight in rather than being tossed back out onto Kuta Beach and told to find a change of clothes.

Do You Have Any Travel Tips Re Safety On The Big Day?

Firstly, we would reassure you that Bali is very safe all year round, and New Year’s Eve is no exception. However, it is best to watch your alcohol intake and regularly take a break to rehydrate.

That’s because in Bali’s tropical, hot, humid climate, alcohol can have a much stronger effect than you’re used to. Also, failing to stay hydrated can lead to heat stroke, which is really unpleasant.

We’d also encourage you not to accept drinks from strangers and to keep an eye on your own drinks. Drink spiking is a very rare occurrence, but it is always better to be safe than sorry.

Finally, make sure that you don’t walk down any dark alleyways on the way home. While Bali doesn’t see much in the way of violent crime, it will see less if you stay in the light. If in doubt, arrange a driver before the event and get them to take you back.

What’s The Best Way To Recover After The Big Night Out For New Year’s In Bali?

We think the best way to recuperate on New Year’s Day is to get by the pool and enjoy some isotonic drinks and coconut water (which is nature’s isotonic).

If you’re feeling refreshed, then why not head out to one of the excellent brunches on the island and get some food in too?

Final Thoughts On New Year’s Eve In Bali 2025/2026

New Year’s Eve in Bali is always best spent at FINNS Beach Club. However, if you’re with family or really elderly friends, you might opt for a gourmet dinner at Azul Beach Club or at a resort in Nusa Dua with maybe some cultural performances thrown in.

Just make sure to plan ahead, and you can enjoy the moment when the clock strikes midnight on New Years Eve in style, whatever you choose. Booking ahead is the key, and ideally, book a place where you can walk home once the live entertainment is over and the early hours beckon.
