Mason is one of the best restaurants in Canggu, and you can tell by the incredible swankiness of the interior and the fine ingredients on the menu.
We love the ribeye, which comes off the BBQ exactly how you want it cooked.
Their wood-fired barramundi is a classic, too, and there’s no such thing as a bad meal at Mason.

Mosto: The Sophisticated Choice
Mosto is a “natural wine bar” and Bali’s first (possibly Indonesia’s first). That means you can expect seriously sophisticated fare here.
The BBQ pork collar was the highlight of our visit. The carrot mash and sweet potato accompaniment made the smoky pork memorable.
The cocktail list uses only zero-waste ingredients; if you’re an eco-conscious soul, you can’t get better than Mosto.

One Eyed Jack: Izakaya Style
This Japanese restaurant is all about Izakaya, and you will find a great blend of traditional Japanese cuisine and the most modern styles of East Asian cuisine.
The chef was trained at Nobu, and every dish is a genuine spectacle (your friends may faint if you publish shots to your Instagram out of jealousy), and it tastes amazing, too.
Try the spicy tuna bites. They come served on a crispy rice and eel sauce fusion that rocks.

Shelter is one of the Canggu restaurants specialising in Mediterranean food, but also combining it with a Middle Eastern fusion that makes their take unique.
Their hummus (drizzled in smoked paprika-infused oil) is absolutely out of this world and sets you up for an amazing meal.
We couldn’t stop raving about their wood-roasted salmon to our friends for days after we went to Shelter.
