Our Top 10 Venues In Bali For Business Meetings, Intimate Celebrations, And Much More
FINNS Beach Club: The Best Event Venue Of Them All

FINNS is the world’s best beach club. It has a dedicated team on hand to ensure that private parties at the beach club are truly unforgettable.
It is the perfect setting for upbeat gatherings of large groups, from a family reunion (of adults, the venue doesn’t allow children inside) to a corporate event such as a celebration of a major milestone.
One of the best things about using FINNS for an event is the natural beauty of the Indian Ocean, and this venue offers the best sunset view of any place in Bali.
The beach club also has some extremely versatile spaces, and it’s the ideal location for private events of all kinds. If we had to choose just one event venue in Bali, we’d choose FINNS every time.

Shivanna: Ideal To Create Unforgettable Memories Of An Intimate Gathering

Shivanna is one of the more interesting event venues on our list, and that’s because it’s not a big hotel with a grand ballroom or a convention centre, but rather a boat.
That means you get some great ocean views, of course, but you are limited to the size of group that they can cater for – it’s the ideal spot for a birthday party or to celebrate something as a small group, but it might not be ideal for bigger occasions.
If you’re planning something a little different on the island and you’re relaxed about the possibility of bad weather (which might make the atmosphere on a boat a little “bouncy”), then you may find that Shivanna provides a good backdrop for your day out.

Aryaduta Bali: From Cocktail Party To Birthday Party A Fabulous Venue

Kuta may not be exactly flourishing at the moment, as Bali offers a lot of interesting places to holiday in, now, but there’s no doubt that Aryaduta Bali can handle events very well.
The ballroom here is in high demand thanks to the ability to accommodate up to 400 people in style while also providing LED screens that can spice up a corporate presentation.
If you want to host something a little smaller, the on-site chapel might be the perfect place for a small gathering of friends seeking a little luxury tailored to their needs.

Bali Sunset Road Convention Center: Corporate Events & Product Launches

If you’re hosting a birthday party or a pre-wedding event, this won’t be your cup of tea (unless you really like spaces designed for businesses), but if you need to arrange a product launch or a big corporate event, then this place can be ideal.
Their ballroom can seat up to 1,300 people in a theatre layout, which means you can walk people through your plans for the next fiscal year in detail, without worrying about whether they can follow along.
The outdoor space here could be a great match for companies looking to do some team-building fun before diving into this venue’s catering options.

Trans Resort Bali: Exceptional Service In A Versatile Event Space

Trans Resort Bali is very much tailored to private events, and they can offer stay packages that ensure your guests are exactly where you want them to be when the event kicks off for the day.
This venue is only a short(ish in Bali traffic) drive from the airport, and it’s not far from Canggu, Kuta or Seminyak if you want to explore what else Bali offers following the event.
The food and drink available are not the most exciting that we’ve tried in Bali’s event venues, but it’s good enough without being amazing. Your guests won’t go home disappointed with dinner.

Bali International Convention Center: Ideal For Corporate Gatherings

The biggest event venue on the island is the Bali International Convention Center (BICC). The main hall can hold up to 2,500 guests!
There are an additional 38 spaces that can be utilised as event venues, too! Of course, this space feels quite corporate and we wouldn’t pick it for an intimate gathering like a birthday party (or a party of any sort), but if you need to invite a huge amount of people, it might be the only option.

This attractive space in Benoa is very much built with the local culture in mind, and it was chosen to host the “Cultural Night” at the 10th annual World Water Forum recently.

Apurva Kempinski: From Post-Wedding Celebrations To A Family Gathering

This “7 Star” hotel complex is one of the most luxurious on the island, and it’s one of the most exclusive event spaces you can opt for.
As you might expect, though, they can draw on the Kempinski’s legendary and world-class service to ensure that you get a flawless performance on the day.

This pleasant upmarket venue on the Jimbaran coastline can accommodate up to 1,000 guests for a reception-style event, or if you prefer a theatre layout, they can hold up to 600 people.
It’s a popular choice for weddings and private celebrations thanks to the stunning ocean views. It’s a very pricey option, but AYANA Resort Bali is very much in the top tier of event providers in Bali.

Folk Pool And Gardens: A Great Venue For A Special Event

If you want to enjoy some nice views of the Bali countryside, then you might consider Jungle Club Ubud as a venue.
While it can’t compete with FINNS for entertainment and fun, it has a more relaxed vibe where you might host a small celebration with a menu that has been tailored by the Jungle Club’s catering team.

FAQs
How Much Does It Cost To Rent A Venue For A Party In Bali?
The cost of renting a venue in Bali is going to come down to what kind of occasion you’re planning and for how many guests, and what you intend to pay for as you celebrate.
If the host is paying for everything for 2,000 people, including an open bar? It’s going to be much more expensive than a birthday party for a group of 20, where the host provides food and the guests cover their own drinks.
The best way to get an indication of the cost is to contact the venue you want to hold your event in and ask for a quotation.
Can You Kiss In Public In Bali?
Yes, you can kiss in public in Bali. But you should be aware that the local culture is pretty conservative, and while it’s unlikely to result in a huge upset, it’s best not to kiss in public too.
This rule can be considered suspended in party spots, though, so if you’re in FINNS or one of the nightclubs, it’s fine to kiss your partner in the heat of the moment.
Where Is The Best Place To Party In Bali?

For us, the best party spot in Bali is always going to be FINNS Beach Club. FINNS is the world’s best beach club, and their whole focus is on creating the best party experience in the world every single day.
It shows too, the ocean delivers an amazing backdrop to the incredible pools at this beachfront property. Guests can enjoy the most spectacular sunset view on the island and then listen to non-stop live DJs and vocalists.
FINNS provides endless entertainment, too; it’s a visual spectacle where it’s almost impossible to wind up bored.
We recommend booking a daybed in advance online to get the most out of a day and night at FINNS. It’s where all the cool kids hang out, and it’s often booked out days or weeks in advance.
Life in Bali is always best when you’re enjoying a drink with friends at FINNS.
Which Island In Bali Has The Best Parties?
Mainland Bali offers one of the world’s best party destinations. It’s reasonably affordable compared to Australia, the USA, most of Western Europe, etc., and the local Hindu culture is much more accepting of drinking and alcohol-fuelled fun than much of the rest of Indonesia.
But if you want to get off the mainland and head out to one of the smaller islands nearby, then the best island in Bali for that is Nusa Lembongan, but it’s not really much of a party destination with no nightclubs and only a few late-night bars.
There is also Gili Trawangan (Gili T), but that’s not actually in Bali; it’s in Lombok. However, it’s much more party-oriented than Nusa Lembongan, and you’ll find that the bars catering to the backpacking hordes are busy all night long in Gili T.
Is $1,000 AUD Enough For A Week Of Partying In Bali?
It very much depends on how you want to party and what you need to buy from that $1,000 AUD (around $700 USD).
Assuming 7 nights out and that your accommodation and flights are already paid for. You’d have around 1.5 million IDR ($100 USD) a day to spend.
And assuming that there’s only one person that you need to cater to on that budget, you can enjoy a drink and a dance every single night that you’re here, though you might need to think about where you’re going to party to get the best value for your money.
But if there’s more than one of you, or you also need to cover other costs than partying from that $1,000? Well, you might have to opt for the occasional party by the pool at the hotel with a few Bintangs from the local Circle K, but it’s still just about doable in most circumstances.
Final Thoughts On The Best Spaces For Private Parties In Bali
Bali offers a huge range of private event spaces, from luxury boats to the world’s best beach club. Whatever you want, they can cater to it on this island.
But it’s important if you want to end the night by saying, “amazing! You guys nailed it!” that you choose the right venue for your event.
Don’t leave things up to chance; each of the venues on this list is capable of hosting an event that your guests remember for the rest of their lives.
