Top 25 Best Beach Clubs In Bali: Find Your Favourite Beach Club With Ease

Bali is the place with the most beach clubs on Earth and there’s no doubt that the beach clubs in Bali are a huge attraction for many tourists.

But how do you find your favourite beach club with some many beach clubs to choose from? How do you spot an iconic beach club and distinguish it from other beach clubs?

With our round-up, of course. We’ve got a list of the 25 best beach clubs in Bali and you’ll soon be sipping drinks in an infinity pool by the Indian Ocean having a great time. This is all you need to know about the beach club scene in Bali.

Our 25 Best Beach Clubs Bali

Our 25 beach clubs in Bali have been chosen from over 100 beach clubs to represent the best of what the beach club scene here has to offer.

We’ve visited nearly all the beach clubs on the island (and on the Nusa Islands) to come up with our list and we’re confident that you’re going to find the right place for you.

From family-friendly beach clubs to chilled-out sunbathing spots to party zones, there’s something here for everyone.

FINNS Beach Club (and FINNS VIP Beach Club)

Address: Jl. Pantai Berawa No.99, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Review: We won’t pretend that we don’t have a favourite, because we do. It’s FINNS Beach Club, often known as the world’s best beach club.

If you only go to a single venue on our list, make it FINNS. There’s nothing like sitting in one of the multiple pools enjoying a cold drink and watching the sunset.

Then, it’s into one of their amazing party restaurants like Monsoon and St. Tropez for some of the best food on the island before we take to the dance floor and party all night long.

Potato Head Beach Club

Address: Potato Head Beach Club/Desa Potato Head, Petitenget St No.51B, Seminyak, Kuta Utara, Badung Regency, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Review: Potato Head Beach Club, on the other hand, is all about chilling out. It’s one of the best beach clubs for nursing a hangover in or spending a day soaking up the sun’s rays.

It’s part of the Desa Creative Village and is twinned with a resort that regularly rates in the top 50 in the world.

We don’t like that they’ve started charging an entrance fee for their sunset views but the minimum spend is reasonable and you can get there early to avoid the entrance fee.

COMO Beach Club

Address: Jl. Pantai Batu Mejan, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Review: We found that COMO was one of the best hotel beach clubs in Bali and that meant there was a higher level of minimum spend than at some of the independent beach clubs.

However, if you have a family and you want somewhere for your kids to run around and play with other children, while you enjoy some cold drinks and tasty food, COMO Beach Club could be ideal for you.

They also have live music at night which makes a pleasant change from the local and international DJs at some of the other clubs.

Suka Sunset Beach Club

Address: Jl. Camplung Tanduk No.99, Seminyak, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361

Review: If you’re passing through the Seminyak Beach area, you may find that one of the best beach clubs around that spot is Suka Sunset.

We liked this place very much and thought that its infinity pool view over the Indian Ocean was one of the best on the island.

The only downside, for us, was that it’s a bit too quiet at the moment, a reflection of the fact that it’s new and not so many people know it’s there.

Cocoon Beach Club

Address: Pantai Double Six, Jl. Arjuna No.66, Seminyak, Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali 80361

Review: Cocoon is a very family-friendly spot and on our visit there were happy children gallivanting around the place like they’d found themselves a second home.

We did think it was more of a pool club than a beach club though, there’s no beach access from this venue, in fact, it’s not quite on the beach at all.

However, if you want some tasty food and somewhere for your kids to play in safety, you can’t go wrong with Cocoon.

Warung Pantai

Address: Jl. Batu Belig No.37, Kerobokan Kelod, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Review: Not everybody has the funds to spend days in the best beach clubs in Bali, but everyone has the budget to enjoy Warung Pantai.

This ultra-basic beach club doesn’t even have a pool, but it also has no entrance fee, no minimum spend and some of the cheapest food and drinks on the island.

So, if you want a sun lounger on the sand, don’t mind taking a dip in the ocean and want to save money, give Warung Pantai a try.

Mano Beach House

Address: Jl. Pantai Pura Petitenget Kerobokan Kelod, Seminyak, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali

Review: Mano Beach House looks like a million dollars and we suspect that’s because they charge what feels like a million dollars for the food and drinks.

This is a pleasant spot, don’t get us wrong, if you want an intimate venue where you can while away a day in the sun, Mano Beach House may well fit the bill.

We just didn’t feel that the food and drinks merited the high prices that they charge. Some of the other beach clubs do a better menu for less cash.

Klive Beach Club

Address: Jalan Villa Kandara Banjar Wijaya Kusuma, Ungasan, Uluwatu, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80362, Indonesia

Review: This is a new entry to our list of best beach clubs as it’s only just opened down in Ungasan where it competes with many of the most expensive beach clubs on the island.

We enjoyed our trip to Klive which is spread out over the cliffside on seven different levels offering some amazing views over the Indian Ocean.

But what impressed us most, was the service was good and the prices were pretty reasonable for this part of South Bali.

Oneeighty

Address: Banjar Dinas Kangin Jl. Pura, Uluwatu, Jl. Goa Lempeh, Pecatu, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361,

Review: Oneighty has an awesome gimmick, a glass-bottomed infinity pool which could be the coolest experience in Bali, but sadly, we found that they don’t keep the glass clean enough to provide the view you’d hoped for.

However, we did enjoy being brought out to the club on a golf cart, a neat trick that always makes us feel like VIPS and the overall vibe is pleasant enough.

The downside was that there were so many influencers in this club that we thought we might have to start throwing their camera gear into the infinity pool to get some peace.

Single Fin Bali

Address: Uluwatu, Pantai Suluban, Jl. Labuansait, Pecatu, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Review: Single Fin is a clifftop bar with some pleasant seating where you can watch the surfers on the beach below (it was actually founded by a professional surfer for surfers but the concept has grown a lot since then).

The challenge at Single Fin is that around sunset, it becomes one of the busiest spots on the island and you find that the sunset views are restricted by a million people trying to get their selfie on.

If you can live with that, this is a nice spot in Pecatu which isn’t too far from Uluwatu proper.

The Lawn

Address: Jl. Pura Dalem, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Review: This small Batu Bolong Beach-based beach club needs a reservation as otherwise, you may find yourself forced to sit at the bar while other people enjoy the day beds.

If you do get inside the club itself, you will find it has a nice view of the ocean and some decent tunes playing to keep you chilled out all day long.

The drinks aren’t great value for money though and we’d stick to beers rather than shell out for their pricey but watery cocktails.

Minoo Beach Club

Address: Pantai Melasti Jl. Pengayutan, Ungasan, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Review: This is a cute little beach club with a really wonderful daytime view over the ocean, though the sunset view is nothing to write home about.

We did think it was a touch expensive for what it is, but this is in Ungasan where every beach club seems to think it has a license to overcharge.

It’s a cool place for a day out with friends as long as you don’t mind their eclectic music policy and not too far from other venues that you can’t change your mind half way through the day.

Luna Beach Club

Address: Luna Beach Club and Utopia Cave Club, Jl. Kayangan, Beraban, Kec. Kediri, Kabupaten Tabanan, Bali 82121, Indonesia

Review: Luna Beach Club is not the newest beach club in Bali, that honour goes to Klive (which is also on this list) but it is one of the newer beach clubs.

It has a very Instagrammable interior but it’s let down by the fact that it’s a long drive from anywhere and the service isn’t great.

If you’re in Seseh, it might be worth the drive but otherwise, we’d opt for one of our other best beach clubs until Luna has sorted out its teething problems.

Tropical Temptation Beach Club

Address: Melasti Beach 88, Ungasan, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Review: We wanted to like this beach club as it has one of the most beautiful designs of any club in Bali and we’re glad that we visited while we were in Ungasan.

But we wouldn’t make a special trip to the Bukit Peninsula for this place, it’s expensive (even for Ungasan) and the service delivery and food quality just didn’t merit the price tag.

It’s a great place to nip inside for a drink, get some Instagram shots and then go elsewhere.

Sundays Beach Club

Address: Jl. Pantai Sel. Gau Banjar Wijaya Kusuma, Ungasan, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80362, Indonesia

Review: Sundays Beach Club used to carry the FINNS brand and we have to say that we think it was better when it was FINNS.

There’s a lot to like about Sundays in terms of the awesome cliffside escalator to reach the beach, the bonfires in the evening, and regular events.

Unfortunately, our time here was partially spoiled by the endless cash grab from a high entrance fee with no value to the expensive food and drinks. It’s worth seeing, but we wouldn’t stay too long.

Sandy Bay Beach Club

Address: Jl. Sandy Bay, Lembongan, Kec. Nusa Penida, Kabupaten Klungkung, Bali 80771, Indonesia

Review: If you’re heading to see the Devil’s Tears on Nusa Penida, you should stop in at the Sandy Bay Beach Club where you can get excellent food in generous portions.

However, we should warn you that there are no sunset views, so pick somewhere else for sunset cocktails and avoid the crowds.

Azul Beach Club

Address: Jl. Padma No.2, Legian, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Review: Azul Beach Club is one of the most visually appealing beach clubs in Bali and the bamboo set up is awesome in Instagram shots.

We also liked their Tiki Bar which is the only one in Bali, which serves handcrafted Tiki Cocktails.

Le Pirate Beach Club

Address: Jalan Nusa Ceningan, Klungkung, Lembongan, Nusa Penida, Klungkung Regency, Bali 82218, Indonesia

Review: This is a charming beach club on the island of Nusa Ceningan just over the Yellow Bridge. We wouldn’t make a special trip to the Nusa Islands just for this club.

But we would always visit Le Pirate if we made it to Nusa Lembongan.

Komune Beach Club

Address: Pantai Keramas St, Medahan, Blahbatuh, Gianyar Regency, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Review: Komune Beach Club is a very family-friendly place on the East Coast of Bali. It’s a great place for kids to play while the adults get massages and enjoy cocktails by the sea.

It’s a bit of a drive from most of Bali’s best beach clubs mind you, so you might want to stay overnight in this area to get the most out of a trip to Komune.

Palmilla Beach Club

Address: Palmilla Beach Club, Ungasan, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali, Indonesia

Review: We like their beach front hammocks at Palmilla and we found the place to be immensely photogenic overall.

However, the music policy is straight out of a Spinal Tap movie and everything is dialled up to 11. If your eardrums can take it, you might enjoy it.

Atlas Beach Club

Address: Atlas Beach Fest, Jl. Pantai Berawa No.88, Tibubeneng, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Review: Atlas ought to be better than it is, while it is the biggest beach club in Bali (at least, according to Atlas), it’s often far from the busiest beach club.

This can leave you feeling very much like the only guest at a party where nobody else turned up.

They also charge an entrance fee to get in and while you do get a towel and a drink with it, we don’t like entrance fees very much. We’re already committed to buying food and drinks, this just feels like a money grab.

Magus Warung

Address: Pantai Melasti, Ungasan, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80364, Indonesia

Review: Magus Warung is one of our favourite places in Bali, partially because in Ungasan it’s almost impossible to find a great beach club that is also good value for money.

Now, this isn’t one of the best beach clubs from a facilities point of view, but it does have a pool, everything is reasonably priced and we’d take this hidden gem over many of its competitors any day.

If we’re in Ungasan, we’re heading to Magus Warung as a no-brainer option.

Cafe Del Mar

Address: Cafe del Mar, Jl. Subak Sari, Canggu, Tibubeneng, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Review: Cafe Del Mar is famous for its Ibizan roots and their Bali club is not on the same scale as the club you will find in the Balearics.

However, there’s no doubt that this club is a good place for the famous Cafe Del Mar chill-out tunes.

Sadly, there’s no beach access though as they have a river between the pool area and the sand.

Karma Beach Club

Address: Karma Kandara Bali, Jalan Villa Kandara, Selatan Ungasan, Kuta Selatan, Ungasan, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80362, Indonesia

Review: Karma Beach Club is in Ungasan and that means it’s expensive. However, so are most of the other clubs in this area.

It’s on a nice part of Melasti Beach which you reach by a glass-fronted elevator from the Karma Kandara resort.

However, it’s also in an area with a lot of development taking place and you can often hear construction work taking place on the sand here.

Sundara Beach Club

Address: Sundara Beach Club, Bay, Jimbaran, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali 80361, Indonesia

Review: You get what you pay for sometimes, and if what you’re paying for is a sedate beach club by the sea with an emphasis on being family-friendly, Sundara at the Four Seasons is one of the best beach clubs in Jimbaran.

It really isn’t cheap, but money isn’t everything, right? But you go to this club to chill, never to party.

Ku De Ta

Address: Jl. Kayu Aya No.9, Seminyak, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali, Indonesia

Review: If you visit Seminyak, Ku De Ta is worth a visit as it’s the oldest beach club in Bali! It’s still one of the best beach clubs on the island too.

If you like music and awesome ocean views, you’re going to enjoy sitting in the restaurant here and letting the day unfold.

FAQs

Are Beach Clubs In Bali Worth It?

Yes, while it might seem that the minimum spend is a lot of money to pay out to sit on a nice chair by Echo Beach, Canggu Beach, Seminyak Beach, etc. in fact, you get amazing service and great food and drinks in many of Bali’s beach clubs.

You also get local and international DJs, swim-up bars, swaying palm trees, floating bean bags, a comfy day bed, and so much more in nearly every beachfront venue. You never forget your first beach club.

Which Area Has The Best Nightlife In Bali?

There are good arguments to be made for Kuta, Seminyak and Canggu but we’d pick Canggu, not only does it have the world’s best beach club in FINNS, but it also has a great mix of clubs, bars, pubs and restaurants.

There’s something for everyone in Canggu, whereas Seminyak tends to attract high-spending youthful customers seeking to impress each other and Kuta tends to be the bargain basement of Bali’s nightlife.

What Is The Largest Beach Club In Bali?

Atlas Beach Fest which includes Atlas Beach Club and Atlas Super Club claims to be the biggest beach club on the island. It certainly covers an impressive area.

However, aerial view maps make us wonder if it’s not a very close race with Potato Head.

When Should I Go To Canggu Finns Beach Club Bali?

FINNS doesn’t open until 11 a.m. So, we wouldn’t recommend getting there before that. We would recommend that you book a day bed in advance to ensure you get a space to really soak in the exclusive vibe of the place.

That means you can either arrive before 1 p.m. if you want to enjoy a lower minimum spend or your bed will be secured all day long. Just make sure you’re there for sunset cocktails as sunset sessions at FINNS are the best in the world.

What Is The Number 1 Beach In Bali?

Arguably, Nusa Dua beach is considered to be the best beach in Bali as it has soft, white sand and lovely turquoise water.

However, most of Bali’s best beach clubs are not on Nusa Dua Beach as this area is covered in high-end 5-star international brand name resorts seeking to profit from family tourism in Bali.

How Much Does It Cost To Go To Potato Head Beach Club?

It depends on when you go. If you want sunset cocktails, then you have to pay an entrance fee of 180,000 IDR to get inside Potato Head from 4.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. This does include a voucher for a drink at the bar, mind you.

In addition, it also depends on where you sit. There are free bar seats in this club but all other seats where you might want to enjoy the sunset views are subject to a minimum spend, which means if you sit on the day beds, it might cost as much as 2 million IDR or more.

Conclusion

There are so many beach clubs in Bali to choose from that everyone can find a place that feels like their idea of heaven by the sea.

Our list of the best beach clubs should give you plenty of places to try and enjoy some time in an infinity pool with a cold cocktail, wondering why you haven’t done this before and leave you looking forward to doing it again.
